The use of ORKAN 350 SL has no significant effect on the average fruit weight, the amount of commercial (dessert fruit with a diameter greater than 7 cm) and non-commercial yield (dessert fruit with a diameter less than 7 cm) collected from the plots.
In all trials, the MCPA and glyphosate residue values determined are below the MRLs.
The advantage of MCPA in the product, a substance from the group of growth regulators, is that weeds relatively rarely develop resistance to this active substance, treating it as necessary for protein synthesis.
The combination in one product of the substances glyphosate and MCPA, which act systemically, makes it possible to control very nuisance weeds such as horsetail in the orchard.
The first results of the product's action are observed approximately 7-14 days after the procedure. The weeds die after 30 days.
Correctly selected strategy of weed control in orchards will give the possibility of obtaining the highest quality crop.
